FCC appeared at the end of the 1960s, and began its history producing components for the footwear market. Its dedication to improving processes and developing new technologies brought success. The solvent-based adhesives can be polyurethane, polychloroprene or synthetic rubber based. These adhesives have good applicability, bonding resistance and quick drying, and can be used for bonding several types of materials and in several processes. FCC has a complete line of solvent-based adhesives, which meet the standards related to the presence of restricted substances and are indicated to serve the footwear, furniture, and gluing of tubes and connections market.
FCC water-based adhesives have excellent initial and final bond strength. Besides, these adhesives provide a safer and healthier work environment, due to the reduced presence of solvents. Another characteristic of these adhesives is that they have higher application performance when compared to solvent-based adhesives. FCC has a wide portfolio of mono- and bi-component water-based polyurethane adhesives, aqueous polychloroprene adhesives, and PVA-based adhesives.
Product specially developed for sealing toilet bowls, to join and seal the water outlet from toilet bowls to the sewer system, also blocking the return of bad smell. The FCC sealing ring is based on pre-molded butyl rubber, and can be sold with or without guide. It can be customized and sold in private label format, with the customer's brand, according to market needs.
The Caulk Putty is a butyl putty, indicated for sealing. It has excellent adherence to various substrates such as glass, metals, plastics, among others, and is widely used between metal sheets such as roofing tiles, gutters, and car bodies, preventing the entry of water, air, and vapors. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, because it is water, weather, and high-temperature resistant. Due to its formulation, it has permanent elasticity, does not drip, nor does it become hard or brittle over time, even under temperature variations. FCC's Mastic for Caulking is sold in several formats such as Mastic Tape, Bulk , or fillets.
DunDun Ceramic Putty is a polymeric compound certified by the international standard ISO 13.007, which provides adhesion of slabs on substrates (concrete block and ceramic masonry, concrete walls, drywall and plastering) of indoor environments. It comes ready to use, there is no need to add water, additives, prepare the mixture or use other materials for application (straightener or spatula), eliminating some of the usual steps of the process. All you have to do is open the tube at the indicated place and apply it, which doubles the construction performance, if compared to other adhesive mortars. It is a technology that facilitates labor and logistics, reducing the generation of residues, collaborating with the organization of the construction site and the performance of the useful life of the internal coatings.
Massa DunDun is a polymeric putty especially developed for the laying of bricks or blocks in wall construction. It can be used in masonry works for sealing, without structural or refractory function. The product is recommended for works with bricks, concrete blocks or ceramic blocks, of good quality and uniform and regular dimensions. DunDun provides savings perm2 of up to 35%, with fewer steps in the production process and less waste. The reduction of up to 95% of the amount of mortar needed for the execution of masonry, combined with the elimination of stages in the construction process, makes the waste of Massa DunDun a maximum of 1%. Massa DunDun is the only polymeric compound in Brazil for laying masonry with ABNT certification in NBR 16.590 (which includes all the tests mentioned in NBR 15.575 and also a rigid quality control and production repeatability), besides flexural traction tests, elasticity modulus, accelerated aging, chemical attacks and wetting and drying.
Hybrid elastomeric coatings offer mechanical properties and performance similar to polyurea, and are cost-effective, like polyurethanes. They are indicated for less complex environments, but which demand superior results compared to conventional systems.
Polyurethane elastomers have adherence to the most diverse types of substrates, and are used in areas that demand abrasion resistance and impact resistance with chemical attack. Its use is indicated for high temperature immersion applications. It offers several advantages such as the ease of application of a single layer, in several thicknesses, the quick drying, which allows the application area to be quickly released, and the fact that it does not present seams, ensuring a great finish and performance.
Polyurea is a high performance coating, which has adherence to the most diverse types of substrates and is used in areas that demand abrasion resistance, impact resistance with chemical attack and exposure to weathering and humid environments. Besides outperforming other technologies, it also offers other advantages such as the ease of application of a single layer, in various thicknesses, the quick drying, which allows the application area to be quickly cleared, and the fact that it does not present seams, ensuring a great finish and performance.
