FCC participates in the 2nd Suppliers and Sustainability Fair of the Piccadilly Company's Total Connection Program

Last week, FCC was present at the 2nd Suppliers and Sustainability Fair, promoted by the Total Connection Program of the Piccadilly Company, one of the main Brazilian manufacturers of women's footwear with global operations. The event focuses on highlighting suppliers who develop sustainable materials for the production of footwear, providing the opportunity to present innovations directly to the company's employees.

Representing FCC were Raul Eismann and Evandro Lemos, from Sales Engineering, along with César Josué, the Sales Representative responsible for serving Piccadilly. During the event, we highlighted Low Reactivation Adhesive, a solvent-free aqueous adhesive for bonding uppers and outsoles, demonstrating our sustainability-oriented technology. We also presented solvents and primers produced with raw materials from renewable sources, as well as Hot Melt 748, a 100% solid, solvent-free adhesive. Among the materials on display were TPU and TR Eco, compounds formulated with natural raw materials, not derived from petrochemical chains, and the FCC Comfort System, with materials developed in TPE Gel, providing greater comfort, especially in insoles.

According to our representatives, Piccadilly employees were impressed by the diversity of products and innovations presented. Events like this are essential for exchanging ideas and discussing new opportunities for joint development. "We left the event with new challenges and product ideas. This synergy with the customer is fundamental for us to continue creating sustainable and intelligent materials," says Raul.

During the fair, visitors were able to evaluate the potential of each material using voting stamps, and many of our products stood out among Piccadilly employees. This feedback reflects FCC's ability to create sustainable solutions that meet customer needs. Our co-creation approach with customers allows us to develop innovative solutions that add value to the business and the environment.
