FCC Promotes Donation of Innovative Breast Prosthesis Material to Breast Cancer Patients

Since 2017, FCC has played a special role in the lives of women recovering from mastectomy surgery to fight breast cancer. Through the donation of a product produced by FCC, external breast prostheses are made for women who cannot afford them. This initiative is the result of collaboration with the Health Volunteers Center, which operates at the Franca/SP Cancer Hospital. FCC contributes by donating the thermoplastic elastomer TPE, an innovative raw material used in the production of these external prostheses. Over these years of partnership, almost 1 ton of material has been donated, making it possible to make the prostheses that make a difference to the lives of countless patients.
